The Community Declaration mentions who can use the site and what he or she will be able to see there, therefore, it should not be a surprise to anybody that people who communicate and work on the site act under their own names. A considerable part of information, including statements by Community members, is available for non-registered users. We tend to think that that is the degree of transparency necessary for new efficient managers to be able to see for themselves that they will find their own match here. If, however, the Community members come out with proposals to reduce the part of the site accessible to unregistered users, we will be ready to consider the issue. That is not the proportion established for good. That is something subject to changes and I personally hope that the changes will occur mainly on the initiative of the Community members.
As for the information which is to be stored in the data base in the process of registration, we are sure to undertake all the necessary and reasonable measures to protect the above information from unauthorized access. Before long, the site will be audited by a major international company specializing in protection of information. The respective announcement to inform you about that will appear on our web-site.
With respect to information which you voluntarily disclose in the process of registration on the E-xecutive site for the professional use of consultants and recruiters of Ward Howell, we would like to emphasize that Ward Howell is committed to the Code of Ethics of the International Association of Executive Search Consultants which provides for very rigid confidentiality rules relating to personal information and allows to use such information only for purposes which are agreed upon with specific individuals, and only in the volume the above individuals allow our company to use the data on their behalf to attain the goals set. The rights of access to information differ within the Company. Under the established rules, information about you may be used only with your permission and in the volume allowed by the person authorized by the Management of the Company to use such information. That is the way the whole executive search business is organized, and we took a decision that there will not be a slightest exception to the rule for the E-xecutive site.
The personnel of the Company when being retained for the job sign confidentiality agreements, that is, contracts on non-disclosure of information, in full conformity with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
As concerns information which is automatically, whether you want it or not, recorded by the system when somebody visits the site or uses interactive services, such information may be used only in the volumes in which you knowingly provide it to us. The site management company is Ward Howell, therefore, you know who your information is forwarded to. All the information which you have provided to the site administrators being unaware of the fact, all the information which may be considered by you as something which could be possibly used for technical purposes, but you have not issued any authorization therefor, even for the internal needs of the site administration, this information will never be used without you knowing about it and your respective authorization.
